The Gnome Hunters
This series pays tribute to cachers who have completed the Serpentine Gnomes series and celebrates some of the great logs written by said Gnome Hunters.

richlink on Serpentine Gnomes 1 to 6: "Mrs iluvtrekking and I gave explicit verbal and written instructions to our geo-hubby's how to tackle this series with Jacobscrew. They nodded and mumbled agreement, but once on their way they ignored our advise, headed from #1 directly to #6 and randomly completed the others, making the whole series a terrain rating 8+. They returned three hours later to our cars parked on Firns Road, stuffed, bloodied, bruised, exhilarated and very smug!".
These boys sound like fair dinkum Gnome Hunters. There's an easy way into/out of this cache and some much harder ways! The given terrain rating applies to the 'easy' way. I'll leave it up to cachers to work out which way that is, or you can do it the richlink way and approach from some random direction

The Cache
The cache is a small tube hidden in a cairn. You only need to move one rock to find the cache ... no need to dismantle the cairn.
