Geocache Description:

New version, new location, new container, everything new!

Twin Bridges (Chinese “孖橋”, pronounced as “Ma Kiu”).

I don’t know and can’t find the official name of that location, but if you ask any biker at Shatin, Tai Po or Ma On Shan, they will certainly know where is it.

Cycling track is everywhere at Shatin, Tai Po & Ma On Shan, twin bridges are located at the inter-junction of these 3 districts.

There are 2 parallel bridges, that’s why people named it.

Other than biking, it is also a gathering point for other activities, e.g. jogging, fishing, dog walking. It is also the start/end point of river sports, e.g. rowing, kayaking as well as dragon boat competition at Chinese “Dragon Boat Festival”.

Transportation tips:
Biking is the best mean to access it and highly recommended. If you do not own a bike, try to rent one at Shatin, Tai Po or Ma On Shan, they will charge by hour or day pass.

If you prefer walking, please take MTR (Ma On Shan Line) to either “Shek Mun” or Tai Shui Hang”, the bridges are located at the mid way, it will take you at least 30 mins for leisure pace.

For bus, take those routes that travel along “A Kung Kok Street”, get off at bus stop “A Kung Kok Street”, then 5 mins walk from there.
