Geocache Description:

To teach is to touch the future, or in this case, the past. I retired from teaching in the public school system after 37 years. Most of these buildings touch my personal history in some way. This is the perfect place to hide my third geocache.

Clermont's Historic Village, at the corner of West Avenue and Osceola Street, is a cooperative effort of the South Lake County Historical Society and the City of Clermont. Clermont's Historic Village is open every Saturday and Sunday afternoon from 2:00pm to 4:00pm. It will be easier to geocache when it is not open, but do come back and tour the buildings. The Historical Society has done a wonderful job here. Enjoy the lake and the trail; walk up town for refreshment.
