This series is Located in Spooner Wi, home of the annual Jack Pine Savage Days (the first weekend in August)This event is becoming more popular every year, with crafts, food, live music and most of all " The Savage Dash, Mud Run" this year over 500 people competed in this 5K run! This series of caches will bring you along the course over many different types of terrain.
These are stand alone caches, you can find them in any order. I suggest parking at one end or the other and enjoy the hike. It is about one mile in length. Be aware that these caches should not be hunted during the actual race. You will not be allowed on the course. Also, there is an ATV trail along the west side of this course. You should be careful of traffic on the ATV trail. Cache contains log book and pencil.
This cache is located near the Start/Finish line, the mud pit is also nearby.
