Out and about on a great day after a recent rain storm passed through the area. Been eye-balling this spot for a while and actually forgot about it. Heading towards the Tallgrass Prairie National Preserve for some hiking and suddenly remembered about this cemetery. Since I was passing through, decided to place a cache here.
To get to cemetery, travel north/south on KS Hwy 177. Turn east onto H Ave and travel for a few miles until it intersects with 700 RD. Cemetery is on SE corner of intersection.
While exploring cemetery, discovered a grave marker for an 8 year old girl.
Short hike to GZ, nothing to brag about. Overhead cover may affect satellite readings - you have been warned.
Cache container is a MATCHSTICK.
Remember that this is a cemetery and please follow any/all rules/regulations that may be posted and that we have all seen on other page write-ups concerning these areas.
UPDATE: April 21, 2015 - Original hiding spot devastated by human activity. Original container (an ELMO sandwich holder) went missing. Found a new spot. Coordinates/page write-up updated.
