Time to get your party on! Everyone can celebrate SOMETHING! Little J celebrates her 9th birthday later this week. What will you celebrate? A birthday, an anniversary, a 7 day caching streak, cooler temps, completing a challenge, apple pie season, solving a puzzle, no more mosquitos,... list your reason for celebrating in your will attend log.
There is a nice sandy playground next to the pavillion for little cachers to enjoy.
Here's the agenda -
1:30 pm - Get a log sheet to sign from the Easter basket and return the log sheet to Little J's pink Jack-O-Lantern bucket. BYOP.
1:32 - Last chance to get the log sheets returned.
1:33 - Little J will draw for FTF rights.
1:35 - Little J will pass out birthday treat bags.
1:36 - Socialize with fellow cachers and enjoy your treat.
1:45 - Leave the area and go find some more caches. There are several not too far including our puzzle cache - brush up on your Czech trivia!
Please RSVP with the number in your group so we know how many treat bags to make up.
If you arrive early, you get to park in the lot, but there are only about 12 spaces - one of which is marked for handicapped. After that, you can park on the west side of 154th St, Leavenworth Circle, or Fieldcrest Drive. There is a second parking lot for Cottonwood Park on the west side of the park (off Piedmont Dr, across from Marcy St.) and then go slightly north and you can walk across the bridge in the middle of the park. If we get a lot of RSVPs and parking looks like an issue, we may have to change locations. So check back here before the event.
