Hobie Club Trail Traditional Cache

Strangely, there are people in Hong Kong who are obsessed not by geocaching but by Hobie Cat sailing - 18 foot catamarans that go very fast and will lift one hull out of the water and fly. They are pretty technical to set up and sail well.

The Hobie Club is at the beach a few metres from this cache, which is on the Hong Kong Trail. You may find friendly people, food and drinks in the village on the beach, especially at the weekend. Descend the long steps from the road to Shek Kong (bus stop nearby), or take the Hong Kong Tail, which contours along the edge of the bay. Great views either way.
