Ice Ice Baby: Chilly Willy Series Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Reviewer Revan: Cache Owner (CO) has not responded, so I am regretfully archiving this cache to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking new cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace this cache sometime in the future (not to exceed 10 days from the date of this entry), just contact me (by e-mail), and assuming it still meets the current Guidelines, I will consider unarchiving this cache.

Please be advised this is not a guarantee that this geocache will be unarchived. Many factors will go into my decision. The most important of which is how you responded to geocachers who tried to communicate with you regarding the problem(s) with this geocache hide and how you communicated with me, the Reviewer Revan.

Ice, Ice, Baby

All right stop, Collaborate and listen.  Redd Metal is back with their latest addition.

Admit it, you know the words to this song too!

this is the sister cache to Cold As Ice GC4P944

Redd Metal scouted several possible places for this cache (which comes easy to with three Scouts and two Scouters in our house). Everywhere fitting was already "in use".  Thinking this town had turned a cold shoulder to them, they were about to give up. At the last minute they spotted this location.  Not much room for anything but a log. Bring a pen.

According to Wiki: "Ice Ice Baby" was initially released as the B-side to Vanilla Ice's cover of "Play That Funky Music", but the single was not initially successful. When a disc jockey played "Ice Ice Baby" instead, it began to gain success. "Ice Ice Baby" was the first hip hop single to top the Billboard charts. Topping the Australian, Dutch, Irish, Italian and UK charts, the song helped diversify hip hop by introducing it to a mainstream audience. The song came fifth in VH1 and Blenders 2004 list of the "50 Most Awesomely Bad Songs Ever."

***As with every RM cache, please preview the YouTube link before viewing with children. Redd Metal is admittedly liberal with their music. ***

This cache qualifies for "1990" if you are working on (GC4XV7R) "Redd Metal's Rock Challenge (1990s)"
