Itsy Bitsy has an itsy bitsy log so be sure to bring an extraction tool to get at the log and sign only your initials & date. Park at Visitor Center and walk around. No parking between 12 a.m. and 6 a.m. anytime and not recommended for hunting the cache during those hours . Poor Itsy Bitsy has been moved with its lair across the parking lot so be sure to check the log with the new coordinates. Itsy Bitsy bit the dust but a new one resides in its' hiding place.
It's been said that 75 people live ocean side in Fenwick Island year round but if you've been here in the off season, you may find that plenty hard to believe. These homes may be listed as primary residences but the residents are likely in Florida, Texas, Arizona, or someplace warmer for the winter. Those 6000 plus square foot homes are usually only occupied in the summer season. Enjoy a brief walk along Bunting Avenue to view some of these beautiful homes. If you have the time, walk up the dune crossing for a magnificent ocean view. In any season, listen to the wind and the waves. There's a reason they call Fenwick & Bethany "the quiet resorts."
