Geocache Description:

I thought this would be a perfect place to learn something about Lincolnville Historic District and its importance.

The starting cords will take you to the Lincolnville Historic District sign. There you will gather in formation for the final cache location. There are so many beautiful places in St. Augustine and although this may not be one of them I learn a lot about the importance African Americas played in founding this beautiful city. Hope you enjoy and learn a lot like I did.

The cords for the final are as follows and the difficulty is set not for finding the cache but for answering all the questions. Thank you for taking the time to learn about Lincolnville.

N 29 A.B

W 81 C. D

A= How many blocks is the Lincolnville neighborhood? Take that number and add 3.

B= African Americans traced their origins to the city's  ___th century. Take the number of that century and add 307.

C= African Americans played an integral role in the history of St. Augustine before the segregation of the late ______. Use the first two numbers of that year.

D= By what year did Lincolnville become a major part of the city? Take that year and minus 1000 and then add 20.

Please replace cache as you found it and enjoy. Also bring your own pen.
