This cache is just off a nice dirt bicycle/hiking trail in Folsom Lake State Park. The trail offers great views of Folsom Lake from the South.
The site offers nice solitude from the pace of everyday life. There is even a nice rock seat if you have a trash bag to cover it.
For no fee access to the Park, park on Sophia Pkwy at Green Valley Rd and walk up the gravel road to the North. Take the first small trail to the right which goes to the main trail. The trail goes through wooded areas. In wet weather, it will get muddy but is passable.
If you take a TB, please be courteous and leave one. Please bring your own pen.
Rattlesnakes populate the land in this part of the State. They are sometimes seen in this Park. Please take snake precautions.
