Geocache Description:


Welcome to my pre 2014 NEW YEAR event party. PPrass has informed me that I had to take over this annual event so I decided that I would have a change of venue. Hopefully I will be able to con him to help just a little.

This years pre 2014 NEW YEAR will be held at Wonthaggi State Coal Mine. They have some fantastic facilities here that are under cover and there is plenty of room for everyone. It is a great looking entertaining area so I think we should make use of it. Those that wish to have a wonder around the area there is a cache or two here at the mine and a well set out area with cottages etc to show you how things were run here in the early times of the Coal Mining era of Wonthaggi. It is a very well maintained area run by Parks Victoria. All area's are free to enter except if you wish to do the underground mine tour.
There is also a shop nearby if refreshments etc are needed. If you want anymore details have included a link.

So what you need to bring is some BBQ stuff or whatever you want for lunch maybe a chair there are some provided and the will to have a fun day. There will be a FTF prize and a few other things

TIME: 11.30 till whenever the last person leaves (or if you you stay to long you will have to come home and help me at the dairy.)
