Placed at the Holy Well, but still trying to find more about this building. Please feel free to update me if you have any more information. From here its a short walk to Cromwells Stone, a beautiful walk amongst the tree on route to another cache "The Best View"( http://coord.info/GCXP1W ) Rated 1/2 if you are parking next to the Holy Well, if you are coming by foot be aware that it's a bit steep and should be rated harder (maybe 1/3). The cache is not inside the building, please do not go inside. Please place the cache back carefully. The title of this cache comes from an album by Hawkwind, an English rock band, one of the earliest space rock groups. Their lyrics favour urban and science fiction themes. They are considered a key link between the hippie and punk cultures. Hawkwind are primarily known for playing "space-rock", a hybrid of hard-rock and acid-rock that united the sonic power of the former and the free improvisation of the latter. Formed in November 1969, Hawkwind have gone through many incarnations and styles of music.
There is parking for 2 vehicles in a lay-by near here but would recommend parking at Shortwood Car park off Beacon Lane and completing the other caches around here at the same time as the views are stunning.
