Perch Pond Forest is a multi-use forest belonging to the University of Maine and Managed by the School of Forest Resources. These caches were placed with the knowledge and cooperation of the owner. In addition to the forest operations, hiking, biking and hunting are allowed on the property. Please wear appropriate clothing during hunting season.
Alternate access by water ( ice crossing in winter) from Sewall Park
The cache is not at the posted coordinates. Dumbo has a problem. He can't see the cache from the sky. Here he is at his trail junction (Gnomen in the area) and there are several ways to go; none of which are conducive to flying. Should he go toward the Pond? Should he head toward the hill? Should he lumber along the Shore Trail north or south?
I thought that maybe I had to increase the rating on this but along came MaineHockeyFan and found it soon. So here it is for all the rest of you to solve. Congratulations MHF for another FTF! Cache relocated to a friendlier abode.
