In September, 2013 I went on the geocruise to Bermuda and among the fellow cachers were two from New Brunswick-friendly forager and pollywog56. They reached 1000 finds during this trip which included caching via van, boat, bike and segway—both on land and under the sea. They were tenacious in finding caches, always trying one more time, diving into the bushes when necessary and considering ripped clothing just part of the game. So they deserve a golden ammo can.
This cache is a collaborative effort with the ammo can one I won at Boots 4H gathering—donated by Captain Jon, the sun glasses from our flash mob on the pier in Bermuda and the pink sands air freshener from the tour organizer, the pen and Breakaway ship pin from Norwegian Cruise Lines, the golf tees and pen from the Bermuda Conservation Department, the Hatfield McCoy Geotrail lanyard from that cache owner, the film-can sized seedlings from geepop complete with camo and logs and the jam jar from the honorees complete with camo and a log( I enjoyed the jam).
The cache contains several travel bugs including a duck from the Bermuda cruise that is in a race to Vancouver to meet the Alaska geocruise in June 2014, a Canadian Maple Leaf TB and a Seahawks TB that wants to be in NYC for the Super Bowl. Please help them along.
