An extension of the Rt 9 Highway series along the Coastal Heritage Scenic Byway.
With the Rt 9 series covering every waterway from New Castle to Dover along Rt 9, it only seemed natural to include a slight extension northward to include Broad Dyke Canal that is the northern border of town of New Castle. This waterway dates back to colonial times.
This is really on the old Rt 9 (Wilmington Road) that went from New Castle to Wilmington that is just east of current Rt 9. It is a much better location for the cache--much less traffic, better views and most importantly plenty of metalguardrails for a MKH hide.
