This is a place where I used to go fishing with my brothers and friends. We've built our fair share of forts and trenches in this area and I felt like I should place a cache that captures the adventurous spirit of our youth.
This cache is just off of the Goffstown Rail Trail. It may look easy on the map, but I think you may be surprised! The cache is not within reach of the rail trail, although it IS at the posted coordinates. If you go around a tenth of a mile SW from the posted coords on the rail trail, there is an easier path down to the cache location. I've added a waypoint for the trailhead. This cache may be dangerous to attempt in the winter and at excessively wet times of the year. Footwear is recommended, preferably something you won't mind getting wet. That may go for your clothes as well.
The route to the cache is dark, extremely slippery, and home to many spiders and creepy crawlers. If you have any doubts about your balance or ability, PLEASE do not attempt this cache. ENTER FROM THE NORTH and bring a flashlight (mine doesn't work...) and maybe a towel. Cache is well-hidden and small. Please try to leave the cache exactly as it was found. Good luck and watch out where you put your hands!
