Geocache Description:

I love science and math and this cache is dedicated to my two loves.


Science studies how the universe works and unlocks its mysteries, whether it is big (cosmology, astronomy) or small (molecular biology, particle physics). Once we find the answer to one question, several more questions open up. Geocaching requires science such as GPS (satellites in space, electronic in the GPSr), the brain for solving the answers to the puzzles cachers have come up with or physics (we've all fallen out of a tree or down a hill while geocaching from gravity, right?). Now is the time to show how much you know about science.  Science and math are intimately related so be prepared to do some math too.  As Roger Bacon said in 1267, "Mathematics is the key and door to the sciences."

K=The sum of the first four numbers in the Fibonacci Sequence. Now subtract 1.

L=Lowest value on the Kelvin scale. Now add Fluorine.

M=The age of the universe multiplied by .65 (rounded to the nearest whole number). Now divide that number by 1.0*10^9. Now subtract the nerve that causes Bell's Palsy. Now add Uranus.
