Unfortunately, this is the second cache I put out. Unfortunately because the first was muggled before I even had a chance to log it. I placed this on off the beaten track but not so far as to be difficult. It's just of a main trail so even young ones should be able to join in. There are some thorns around so just be careful (I hid it with shorts on and got a few scratches).
This one is at the southeastern end of Blackbutt so there are now caches from one end to the other. I'm still amazed, however, that more caches aren't hidden here. It's a great place for a hike or a bike ride. Maybe I'll take myself up on that. Parking is available at the east end of Blackbutt. It is a short walk from there. Remember Murphy's Law of Caching: You always find the best trail after you find the cache. Look carefully, the best and easiest access is south of the cache.
