A tricky little cache & dash

Admire the view and you're bound to come across the hiding place of this cache

About the name: Canongate is now the main Alnwick - Wooler road, but formerly led from the town towards Alnwick Abbey and presumably Canongate refers to the monks who lived there. All that remains of the abbey is the gatehouse, situated in Hulne Park and visible over the park wall a short distance away from this cache.
