Intro

Please respect all headstones. A lot of work has gone into making sure they remain for generations to discover.

I'm attempting to place caches in as many of Decatur County cemeteries as I can. Take your time and enjoy yourself. You don't have to stop at every headstone, but, please, slow down and look around you. Grave markers can tell a story, or at the very least make you wonder what the story really is. I'd prefer my cemetery caches not be park and grabs.

History

I can not find any information on this cemetery. Almost all of the stones are destroyed or unreadable. This is a reminder of what can happen when cemeteries are forgotten to time.

Headstones to Look For

  • Charles M. Roszell One record says he died in 1863, but he may have been mustered out by then.
  • John Moulton: Soldier of the War of 1812 and helped cut the Brookville Road from Greensburg to Franklin County.
  • Daniel S. Perry: Son of a Revolutionary War veteran and veteran of the War of 1812 from the Kentucky Militia. A stone can not be found.
