Geocache Description:

The 1stA Birmingham Boys’ Brigade are celebrating 100 years in 2013.

A series of Caches have been placed at significant places around Birmingham.

This Cache is located by the Peoples Chapel Baptist Church where the 1stA have met since 1967.

The original Peoples’ Chapel was opened in 1848 a short distance from the current location. On 31st December 1886 the original building was destroyed by fire. A new church was built and opened in 1887.

The redevelopment in the area during the 1960’s meant the Church was relocated to its current location on Great Kings Street in 1967.

The cache is a Nano so no pen (please bring your own).

There is no need to climb the steps to the Church or climb over the fences to obtain the cache.

You can park in the Church car park for 15 minutes, which should be ample time to retrieve the cache & sign the log book.

Please replace as found, Many Thanks
