Not Just Another Lock and Lock Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

GeoKs: After a recent finder messaged us to say this one needed a little TLC, Mr GeoK rode his bike over to check it out. With the new Three Sisters subdivision going in just across the creek, this one is no longer at all sheltered from curious eyes, so he's taken it down. Another one bites the dust....

How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

CACHE IS AT THE POSTED COORDINATES. However, once you spot this “in plain sight” cache, you will have to use your powers of observation and logical thinking to access the waterproof match container containing the log sheet. NOTE: One of the many squirrels in this part of the woods has taken a liking to perching atop the cache enclosure, so don't be surprised if there's a pile of cone debris on top.

This is latest addition to Mr. GeoKs' flock (sic) of not-so-simple birdhouse caches. If you're in the Three Sisters neigbourhood working on our MBT or Three Sisters Parkway Challenge series of caches, consider this a bonus hide for your caching enjoyment. This cache is located about 20 steps off a well-established dirt path frequently used by walkers and mountain bikers.

All items necessary to access the waterproof match container holding the log sheet are stowed at the cache site. Brute force is NOT required. Brain power IS required. If you can't access the match container, there's probably something you overlooked or haven't yet figured out.

NOTE: We kindly ask that you pay close attention to the placement of the cache components when you are solving the puzzle so that you can properly restore the items so the next geocacher can solve the puzzle and prevent a maintenance visit.
