Geocache Description:

A cache big enough to hold Travel Bugs, placed on a lovely stretch of the Trent & Mersey canal.

Having just moved to Middlewich, we placed this cache when we struggled to find one big enough to release a new travel bug. It's a 1l plastic container with clip lock lid, so plenty of space for treasure!

We live very close to this stretch of canal and often walk our dog along here. It's a busy area, with lots of people using the towpath and 2 hire boat fleets based close by, so beware of muggles.

The cache is hidden away from the main towpath. Please use the bridge to cross the lock (not the lock gates) and take extra care with children and animals. You will not have to descend the steps at the off-side.
