West Ruislip Golf Course which has been a Gold course since 1922 (but is currently under threat from the HS2 project) is a "very fine example of a traditional parkland course, the flat fairways are deceptively simple, making it ideal for the budding golfer" according the the Hillingdon council website.
Designed by Sandy Heard at 5571 yds - Par 69 is one of the longest in the Greater London area. The course features a pub/restaurant and driving range.
Just off the Hillingdon trail, this cache is a nano (tweezers required) and is reasonably challenging especially during the summer months.
Beware of golfing muggles here when the weather is good.
