This is a cache to remember our wedding ceremony at Scarista Beach in June 2005.
We fell in love with the Outer Hebrides years ago and since then we came back on holidays. When we realised that it is possible to get married at a beach in Scotland we went for it.
So we had an unforgettable wedding day at the beach and a real good time. Thanks to the owner of Scarista House and the registrar of Harris for their help.
So, enjoy this lovely beach, do some walking or swimming (like us when we hid the cache) and look for the cache:)
Please note!
This is not a drive by.
Take your time, park your car near N 57.49.563 W 007.02.514, where there is a gate and a path to the beach. Unfortunately there is no proper car park.
Please do not cross the golf course!
There is a burn to cross - how wide depends on the tide! Be aware of the undercurrence if you go swimming!
First content: first-to-find-geocoin and a pencil
We would enjoy photos of the beach.
