Squirrel Resort Traditional Cache

USAPatriot4ALL: After the recent DNF, we went to check on this cache. The container is indeed missing.

They are currently doing extensive work in this park with landscaping and the building of a what appears to be a new extension for a nearby bike trail. The location of this cache has seen a lot of bushwacking and clearing of underbrush and small trees. Unsure if additional work is going to be done at the cache site, and given the proximity of the trail extension construction, we are archiving this geocache for the time being.

Geocache Description:

This hide spot looks like the perfect place for some squirrels to hang out and relax. Plenty of hidey holes and perches for the tree dwellers to climb, crawl, and lounge about.

 

Every hide we have placed in a park has been named after some manner of wildlife that has inspired us at the cache location. This one is no exception. We had originally picked another spot until we spied this squirrelly heaven of terrain.

As with all parks, please respect the park rules and hours.
