The Ulverstone Clock Tower - A coastal icon.
Constructed as a memorial to those who served in World War 2, the memorial clock also incorporates the World War 1 memorial which stood on the same site. Designed and constructed by European migrants, the clock tower is unique in Australia. The construction incorporates features representing the three armed forces, liked together by chains and surmounted by a traditional laurel wreath. The clocktower was cleaned and refurbished in recent years and stands at one of the town's main intersections at the eastern end of Reibey Street where it is positioned at the centre of a roundabout.

This area is highly visable due to its location in the middle of a busy round about. Stealth is required - pretend you are a tourist! Not really a child friendly area. Should be a nice quick find. Cache is a small tube with log book and pencil. Enjoy!
