In folk magic and mythology Cross Roads symbolise a location "between worlds" and are seen as a site where supernatural spirits can be contacted and paranormal events often take place. Cross roads also are attributed with making deals with the devil thanks to 20th centuray Blues songs (most notebly Robert Johnson, legend has it that he sold his souls at a crossroads to achieve success).
All cache hunters should be safe though with the St Thomas Church on the corner (run inside screaming 'Sanctuary' should any paranormal or supernatural events start taking place). The church was built in 1890 and moved to it's current location in 1900 - it's currently a privately owned property used as a weekend getaway.
Please be careful when giving way at the cross roads - cars come around quickly! Parking is avaliable on the opposite side of the Church in front of a row of bins - then it's a short walk to GZ.
