The trails terrain differs are you go along it. Most of it is nice wide flat path. Some spots its rocky and hilly. It will take you through many different types of areas; fields, marshes, and forests. Many different types of trees can be found along the trail also: cedar, pine rows, small maples, birch, spruce, oak and poplar. See if you can spot them all.
In addition, as far as wildlife, it's plentiful in here. Many species of birds can be found in the area too. While placing the caches I saw: blue jays, cardinals, Canadian geese, all types of small birds as well as a hawk. Other animals that you may encounter may be deer, squirrels, rabbits, and maybe more.
To do the whole series including the 2 non-series caches it's about 4km round trip. Come prepared with snacks and water.
