Come and Flash in London!

Bring a Torch to identify yourself as a cacher ... any sort of torch, flashlight, glowstick etc. Switch it on at 6pm.

At precisely 6pm we shall assemble, you'll easily recognise us, we'll be at ground zero with a dog, he will be wearing a flashing collar, you will be asked sign the log to show your geocaching name and how many in your party, we'll take a group photo, share some refreshments ... sweets (yeh!), swap TBs, chat and disperse 6.15pm.

This will be the sixth year I have held a flash mob at this time of year, the first two were part of the Podcacher Podcast worldwide event, they're resting this time, but we're still up for a spot of flashing, so why not join us?

For the unititiated, a Flash Mob event is a micro event, which takes place at a given time and lasts for a specific time. The idea is that if you arrive early, you blend in and look inconspicuous until the event begins on the stroke of 6 pm. At precisely 6.15 pm we shall disband and go our separate ways. Although in reality some may go off caching or socialising afterwards at a nearby watering hole!

Why not come to London and make a day of it?

November 9th is also the day of The Lord Mayor's Show, so there will be events in the City / St Paul's area during the day, The Firework Display at 5pm and what better way to finish your day than a quick flashmob event?

Last year we gave away some spot prizes, this year, we're going one step further with a very quick raffle for a worthy cause, watch this space for further details!
