This Cache is placed near a single track bridge, nearby are two churches "Our Lady of the Alps" and "St James" ( many years ago you could see the Franz Josef Glacier from the Alter Window), an I SITE , and a short Terrace walk ( after 15min it has been closed due to landfall). Franz can get extremely busy in the summer, but it is a lovely little spot , even a Kiwi Centre (worth a visit).To get to Cache Park in Franz and walk (good views on a nice day) or park just before the bridge in the car parking area. This is the main road on this Western side of the Island so please choose your timing when to get cache without being spotted by muggles. This is my first cache - hopefully first of many.Love NZ.
