Geocache Description:

Thursday 7th November at 19:00

The Sussex Barn, North Heath Lane, Horsham, West Sussex, RH12 5PJ

Not long to go now before Rick Mastraccio heads off to the International Space Station (ISS).  Rick is taking with him a travel bug to help teach students all over the world about geography and geocaching.

The launch will be aired live via the NASA website http://www.nasa.gov/ and there are also various other methods of seeing the launch.  All of which can be found via the link below to the Geocaching Blog

I’ve decided to try and get a little creative for this meet, so if you want to join me then by all means why not come along wearing something space themed?  I did think about us all wearing tin foil hats, but as we get on so well at this venue, I’d like us all to be able to go back there!

I’ve got a couple of freebies up for grabs too, nothing spectacular, but it’s the thought that counts.  I’ve made a FTF badge, a unique TB and a couple of star themed key rings.  All these goodies will be handed out with a lucky draw/games so there is no need to camp out at the pub overnight to ensure an FTF, I'll try to think of something more interesting than calling out raffle numbers to find the winners, but you're going to have to be here to be in with a chance of winning the beautifully crafted (honking my own horn) prizes.

There is plenty of information available online regarding the ISS and I’ve put a few links below for your pleasure.

AS ALWAYS PLEASE ADVISE IF YOU'D LIKE TO EAT SO I CAN GIVE THE PUB A HEADS UP.

It will be lovely to see you all as always, and remember if you have any space themed geocoins, TBs or anything that will be of interest to anyone, please bring it along with you.

See you soon
