Ground Control to AstroRM? Doesn't have the same ring to it as Major Tom but, then again, the Major wasn't cool enough to cache the International Space Station. True, Astronaut Rick Mastracchio will be travelling in a glorified tin can, but he's got the skills to "float in a peculiar way" once he gets to his temporary home. Astronaut Rick is a total N00b cacher, so this will be a legit FTF for him. His tin can launch is around 5:00 a.m. GMT.
We're not the type to stay up all night, so let's get together for a little space-themed gathering during the more reasonable hours of 6-9 p.m. The location was chosen because it is owned by a fellow with 20 years of experience with the Space Transport System (STS) project, also known as the Shuttle Program. We've got the private room reserved, they have a full bar, and a decent pub menu (no obligation to partake of either). Everyone pays their own, k?
There might even be rockets!
