This is an event cache celebrating the rocket launch that will take a Geocaching Travel Bug that is hitching a ride with astronaut Rick Mastracchio straight to the International Space Station. Rick will live aboard the ISS for 6 months. He plans to use the Travel Bug as a tool to teach students on Earth, in his home state of Connecticut, about geography and science. It will take place in Kazahkstan on November 7th early in the morning, but 8:08pm on November 6th, PST for us on the west coast. There will be a sign-in sheet to make sure you earn the souvenir attached to this event. Be sure to bring plenty of caching stories to share with friends new and old!
The event will take place at Abby's Legendary Pizza (off Diamond Lake Blvd) at 7pm, November 6th, 2013. Bring a Travel Bug to swap, considering this is all about TBs going far places!
