When you arrive at the posted co-ordinates, you will find two sets of co-ordinates. One is clearly marked GZ, the other is for “The Access Point” which will give you access to the vicinity of GZ. Every time I’ve been to “The Access Point”, there has been water. You can get around it with a bit of agility, otherwise some sort of water shoe is recommended.
There is the possibility for adventure at WP1.
Firstly: Depending on your approach, you may have to do what needs to be done, twice
.
Secondly: Depending on your approach and personal physical attributes, you may have to walk an extra 1½ kms before you can set off to “The Access Point”
.
After recording the numbers, walk downhill, turn right and follow the track. Turn left at the next intersection and your GPS’s arrow will point you to “The Access Point”. It’s a very pleasant walk.
PLEASE NOTE: It’s a bad idea to walk straight ahead to “The Access Point” from WP1. There is a creek, lantana and in wet weather, a swamp. With perseverance, you can get around the lantana, even the creek, but if it has rained recently, well … let me know how it works out for you.
Once you’ve transitioned “The Access Point” (WATCH YOUR HEAD AT THE START) climb up to the fence behind you and walk east about 40 metres. GZ appears to be behind you, but don't worry. Near a gate, a grassy track runs south-west. Follow your GPS’s arrow to the cache and Bob’s your aunty’s live-in lover
.
