Geocache Description:


Come One Come ALL to Cachewhisperers first event "Florida 50 State Star Kick-off Event" at a new park in Macclenney.

Macclenny Park has a large shelter with bathrooms and play stuff for any kids. We will all be gathering under the pavilion @ 9am sharp to discuss the event activities and load GPSr's with a few coords for a little game. There will be plenty to do in the area and lots of stories and discussions to have. At high NOON, we will be serving up some pig skins and cow patties as the locals call them (hot dogs and burgers for the rest of us)

and then you can feel free to go out and explore the forest if you feel like it. Any side plates anyone feels like bringing or deserts would be greatly appreciated. The event will officially be over @2pm so there is plenty of time for you to enjoy what the local area has to offer. There will be a few raffle prizes after lunch around 1:15pm.
