In celebration of geocaching heading back into space, I decided to throw another little flash mob to celebrate. In case you hadn't heard the news, see Groundspeak's Official Blog about this momentous event where astronaut Rick Mastracchio will be blasting off to the International Space Station and will have the chance to find the hardest-to-get cache in (or in this case OUT) of this world!
Wednesday, November 6th 5-5:15 pm, although I'm sure it will run longer than that!
Groundspeak has also announced that there will be a souvenir for attending an event on this day, so drop on by after work or a day of caching and say hi to your fellow geocachers. I'll give bonus points* to anyone that dresses up with the theme! I'll probably provide something to snack on, that I'll determine closer to event time.
Note: DO NOT Park along M-51! Take Mills Street north next to McDonalds off M-51 one block, then turn left (west) on St.Marys Street, and go the parking area for the park.
*Bonus points are equivalent to points on the TV show "Whose Line is it anyway?" ....they don't matter! lol
