Following this trail requires some scrambling over rocks slides, bushwhacking through portions of the trail and other portions where you can't find the trail, and about a dozen stream crossings. Elevation and distance aren't too bad, but know what you're getting into on this one.
After finding "Cowboys or Indians?" on my previous stop on this trail, I figured I'd leave a cache to recognize all those government workers out on furlough right now, and their infamous "good enough" attitude. This little path feels like it is maintained with just that type of work ethic. I'm sure it actually required a lot of time and effort to cut through all this brush and over the rocks, but it's a tough scramble that feels more like a bushwhack.
Congratulations to Tuxxj and Oberon for their FTF! I was hiking a much shorter canyon the same morning as their FTF, and it sure was slick and muddy! Very well deserved for you two.
