Overlooking The Whitewater Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Seeker 07: I hate to archive this. It is in a beautiful area over our "White Water Rafting". The bridge has undergone a huge transition and is now a walking bridge. I have been out twice to replace the container. Each time is the same. We have homeless people spending their day on the bridge. Old food cans, cardboard for beds, Empty alcohol containers and litter are abundant. The homeless on the bridge are drinking in public and using loud violent profanity to people walking on the bridge. I hope the situation gets corrected.

Geocache Description:

You are looking for a small container that fits in with it's surroundings. A First To Find Pathtag is inside for the FTF cacher. Small swag and bring your own pen. At times there will be MANY muggles sharing the area with you. There presence adds to the difficulty.

The Frank Martin Memorial Walkway was dedicated today. Mr. Martin was the Mayor of Columbus when the Whitewater project was started. It is a wonderful walkway from Columbus, Georgia to Phenix City, Alabama. It has a wonderful view of the Whitewater Rafting that is new to Columbus and Phenix City. We watched the last three rafts for the day go through the rapids and saw a grand sunset.

Congrats to Fuddster on the FTF.
