Access to the cache can be gained from several directions. North of the cache parking and access to the Cushman trail is available at the Kimball Drive transit center and Park and Ride. The Cushman trail passes behind the Wilco Store. Bathrooms are available at the transit center. South of the cache the trail outlet is behind the Harvester restaurant with parking in the nearby Olympic village on Olympic drive. Drive up access to the cache area can be found in a business park off of Olympic drive. I have posted a trailhead coordinate for a spot by the Cushman trail where a usage trail opens out.
Walk the trail from one end to another or search a section at a time. This section of trail containing the Caching Cushman series is a round trip of four kilometers starting at the park and ride and going South near the Narrows Bridge on Reid road.
The cache container is a Costco chocolate raisin container with cammo. Usage trails indicate there may be muggles who access the Cushman trail through this strip of woods, but there is currently no problem with trash, kid partying or homeless camps. I didn't see any evidence of bees, but they are a hazard in our woods, so take care.
Look for a clue to the coordinates of 'Caching Cushman Trove' in the log for this cache.
