In April 2012, VideoRob, VideoRob's then-girlfriend (whom, for lack of a current geocaching name, I'm going to call "BellyCacher"), and JeffGamer were planning to publish a mystery/puzzle cache called "Belly Cache" to honor their relationship, but life has a way of thwarting plans. While we'd hidden the container on April 6, 2012 and had been plotting the hide for a while, things kept on getting in the way of creating the complicated puzzle needed to make our visions a reality.
But while you can put off a geocaching puzzle, you can't put off L-O-V-E. On April 8, while VideoRob & "BellyCacher" were on a grand geocaching adventure with GamerSon and I at "Baehre's Do It", both halves of the happy couple separately decided that they were going to propose to each other in the near future. The proposal came months later, but the kernal was planted on that geocaching day.
So now, the happy day has arrived! VideoRob and BellyCacher are marrying each other on Sunday, October 13, 2013! And I decided that since geocaching is now a part of their road to matrimony, "Belly Cache", which still sits exactly where we hid it in April 2012, will be the Love Cache instead.
"You Can't Put Off L-O-V-E!" is a traditional cache, so the cache IS hidden at the posted coordinates. It's a nano-sized magnetic micro with only a log inside, so make sure to bring your own pen. Note that the spot where the cache is hidden is still in the public area. Also, while the message you'll read at ground zero seems ominous, it's actually quite appropriate for a situation in which people declare, "Until death do we part."
And since this cache is being published in honor of the wedding of VideoRob and BellyCacher, feel free to post a congratulatory note to the happy couple when you log your find!
NOTE: The geocache is not INSIDE anything. It is possible that eagle-eyed geocachers may be able to spot the old cache...a red container...inside something at ground zero...but that is NOT the current cache...and the wire that USED to be the attachment device is in NO WAY related to the current hide.
Have fun...love well...and cache on!!
SIDENOTE: Both neighbors are aware of the cache's presence...and the "No Trespassing" signs refer to going into the grassy area beyond the pavement, an area that you do not need to go to in order to find this cache.
