TREASURE ISLAND IS ONE OF OUR FAVORITE PLACES AND YOU CAN EITHER WALK HERE OR WHEN THE TIDE IS IN KAYAK OUT AND IF YOU BRING A PICNIC IT HAS THE FEEL OF A REAL DESERTED ISLAND, ALTHOUGH IT IS POPULAR WITH THE LOCALS :)
Congrats to Joesmile on his muddy FTF
This is a replacement to an old Andy Joiner cache that was here but unfortunately went missing,
In the Summer the island is a favorite spot for kayakers and swimmers from Devoran and is a real fun place, when the tide is out the walk here is superb, and is a favorite of dog walkers and bird spotters alike.
Please take care when walking out it can be slippery and do check the tide tables, you could get stuck for a few hours, there is a story of a local cacher who did get stuck but luckily it was regatta day and he got a ride on a rowing boat back :)
The cache is a 35mm so please replace as carefully and enjoy Treasure Island.
