This is our first cache. It is all about the Bahnhof Moabit from 1933 to 1945. Please read all information boards and inform yourself about the place. You don´t have to climb, destroy or open something.
DE: Der Cache beschäftigt sich mit der Rolle des Bahnhofs Moabit während der NS-Zeit. An den Startkoordinaten befindet ihr euch an einem Denkmal. Von hier könnt ihr das gesamte Gelände des ehemaligen Güterbahnhofs Moabit überblicken. In Richtung Osten seht ihr den Teil um den es in diesem Cache geht und Richtung Westen seht ihr den "Rest" des Bahnhofs der bis zum heutigen Bahnhof Beuselstraße reichte. Vieles sieht hier heute nicht mehr so aus wie früher.
EN: At the start your find yourself in front of a memorial. From this point you can see the whole area of the former Station Moabit. To the east you can see the part which is important for the cache. To the west you can see the "rest" of the area which also contains todays Station Beuselstraße. Not many looks today as it looks in the past.

DE: In diesem Gebäude befand sich bis 1938 eins von fünf jüdischen Geschäften in der Quitzowstraße. Es ist schwer sich vorzustellen, dass hier niemand etwas von dem Dportationsbahnhof Moabit gewusst hat, wenn man sich ansieht, wie hoch die Gebäude sind. Natürlich entspricht die Bebauung in Richtung Bahngleise nicht der selben wie in den 1940ern.

EN: Until 1938 existed one of five jewish companies of the Quitzowstraße in this building. I wonder if the people that lifed here to did also say that they knew nothing. Look how high the buildings are. But for sure the buildings beetween the Quitzowstraße and the platforms aren´t the same.
