Geocache Description:

A Geocaching in Space event on November 6 at 10am to celebrate Rick Mastracchio's out-of-this-world geocaching trip to the International Space Station.


Astronaut Rick Mastracchio will deliver a Travel Bug® to the International Space Station. Mastracchio will be using the Travel Bug as an educational tool to help teach students around the world about geography and provide other educational lessons. The mission is currently scheduled to launch from Kazakhstan at 4:08 GMT on November 7, but we're not getting up THAT early! Groundspeak are awarding souvenirs for attending an event on 6 or 7 November, come and get your's here!

Meet at the Royal Observatory, Edinburgh, site of the UK Astronomical Technology Centre, at 10am for a group photo, before heading to Cameron Toll for coffee and geocaching-space-blether.
