Geocache Description:

Welcome to the historic Eureka College Campus, where the 40th president, Ronald Regean graduated. A little history of the campus: Eureka College was founded by abolitionists from Kentucky who were members of a religious movement known as the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and were committed to providing young people a broad, liberal education. These pioneers believed in an education infused with values as a basis for leadership. Chartered by the Illinois Legislature in 1855, Eureka was the first college in the state and third in the nation to admit men and women on an equal basis. Eureka College was designated by the National Park Service as a Campus Historic District in the National Register of Historic Places in June 2010.

My favorite quote is : "Everything good that has happened to me... everything... started here on this campus"- Ronald Reagan

I have to thank Brooke Campbell, the Dean of Students for giving me permission to place this cache. The cache is obviously on the Eureka College campus, so please be respectful of their property and please don't damage anything. You will need your stealth suit for this one depending on the time of day you visit. Please feel free to roam the campus and take a look at the Reagan Museum if you have not already. BYOP

If you for any reason have a problem or need assistants I am always on campus (except for campus breaks), so just email me.
