For those wishing to avoid the madness of SH1 between Hornby and Rolleston, another route is parallel to SH1 and comes out at Burnham and is a route that I take quite regularly now when heading South.
The cache is a 300ml snaplock and at this stage doesn't have a stash nore - something I will rectify soon. It does have clear identification that it is a cache a log book, pencil and sharpener.
Parking is easy but watch out for when you leave - roads all over the show and you need to have eyes up the proverbial to rejoin the highway.
