Delph Wood is now just a small woodland that is almost completely surrounded by houses providing an oasis of natural habitat for the wildlife in the area. It used to be part of a large birch forest that stretched from the River Forth across to the Hillfoots.
The cache is hidden almost in plain sight off one of the many small paths that run through the woodland; there is no need to go off the paths to reach this cache although some routes are easier than others!
The paths around the cache site can get a bit muddy and/or overgrown depending on the weather and time of year.
