What: An event timed to roughly coincide with a geocacher astronaut being launched into space on his way to the ISS.
Where: At the published coordinates - the Stardome Observatory in Auckland.
When: From 6:30pm to 7:30pm on Thursday the 7th of November. Try not to be late.
Why: To celebrate a geocacher being launched into space, perhaps to be the first true finder of the ISS geocache, Groundspeak is awarding a "Geocaching in Space" souvenir for all who attend an event during the launch.
In the event of nice weather, we may gather outside under the stars, but otherwise we will enjoy the FREE exhibits in the Stardome. Some may wish to attend the planetarium show starting at 8pm, but note that pre-booking is essential and it's NOT part of the event.
See you there and may the force be with you, or something.
