Signals Traditional Cache

A small, clip lock cache suitable for small swaps/tb's/coins.

In memory of one of our previous caches, a multi by the same name originally placed in 2004.

The cache is located near where Billinge Radio Station once stood and is close to four large telecomms masts. More interesting information about the station can be found here http://www.dtels.org/html/lancashire.html The radio station closed in November 2005 but the masts are still used to transmit local radio and tv signals. My dad remembers a small, derelict house on the cache site in the 1960's but all that remains now are a few low walls, tall trees and a blanket of ivy.

There is room for two or three cars to park about 200 yards away to the south but access to the cache site is close to a dangerous bend in the road and there are no pavements so please take care!
